What is the dress code?

We encourage cocktail attire for the welcome party and black-tie optional for the wedding day. We recommend comfortable footwear since light walking on grass/gravel/dirt is necessary at the property.

What’s the weather looking like?

It’s trending to be beautiful! Mid to high 80s during the day but be prepared for it to drop to 40s in the evening.

Are there shuttles?

Yes! We will be providing shuttles to and from House on Metolius for the welcome party and wedding day events. Shuttle pickups will be at Black Butte Ranch and Downtown Sisters. Please check the “Travel & Lodging” section for details

If I’m staying at HoM how do I check-in?

Check-In Details

Karen Henry (Gita’s mom) emailed room assignments for lodging from Friday, May 30 to Sunday, June 1.

  • Cabin check-in begins at 4:00 PM on Friday.

  • Main house check-in is available starting at 11:00 AM.

If you're staying in a cabin, feel free to stop by the main house as early as 11:00 AM to drop off your luggage—the house will be open and welcoming!

Checkout for all rooms and cabins is at 11:00 AM on Sunday, but guests are welcome to enjoy the main house common areas and grounds until 2:00 PM.

There are two sets of directions. Note, the gate code is 1121

  • Main House - for guests staying in the main house, or if you are staying off site and driving for the wedding events
